14x15 RSR Fuchs

Yes, I know, Porsche didn't build that size, but, these started life as 11X15 Fuchs, that a racer had converted to 14" to work with a set of larger flares. These may be available soon, and I don't have any pictures yet, but we are trying to figure out a realistic value. Any ideas??
Some of the older guys may know the wheels I am talking about.

Another cool item that may be available, a real set of rear 73 RSR flares, that where cut off a race car after the 73 season when many cars were "updated" for the 74 season. The flares are still in the color that the 73 RSR raced Daytona, Sebring and LeMans..
Pictures coming soon.

They were trying to win races. Nobody thought they would be special some day. They were racing in real time. 15 years ago when I was at Carquip we had more than a dozen 917/RSR 5 spoke magnesium wheels and 2 pairs of them had been widened. Prices were $1000-2500 each.

Well, Matt pretty much nailed it, the Racer who had the Fuchs widened, well, 11X15 Fuchs were still available and he owned 3 major Porsche dealerships at the time. So it wasn't a big deal for him to have the 4 Fuchs widened.

If they were 13x15 I’d probably be interested in a pair for my DP 935 II, it sounds like these need to stay on the race track at this width.

I'm just waiting for my back to get better, as I will have to move several, and I mean, several old motorcycles before I can move a ladder up to the top of the garage to get to the parts, including the actual flares off of this 73 RSR.
