value on a '78 Euro SC
Morning all, I am thinking of selling my Euro 1978 SC,VIN : 9118301xxx, it is a low option car, no sunroof or A/C, the only power options are the brakes and windows, It has a rebuilt original 930/03 engine and rebuilt 915 with a fresh ZF LSD. Sport seats W/blue tartan inserts, factory 7" & 8" Fuchs. There is about 2K miles on the transmission / LSD rebuild and 1K on the clutch & top end rebuild of the engine. The engine was upgraded with 964 cams, lightened flywheel & Georges Euro headers, Dansk Sport 2 in/1 out muffler. Older repaint with some chips but zero rust. Many smaller upgrades such as a Renspeed shifter ( I have the original) anti-back flow oil valve, small air scoop for the oil cooler and many others. It would be very easy to take this car back to all original equipment. 250K on the chassis, stock brakes and suspension. It does have a fiberglass ducktail on it.
I can take some pictures tomorrow and load them, it's raining here today in Hudson, Fl & I am terrible getting my aol, MacBook and websites to communicate on pictures. Looking for a price range on this. Thanks, Joe in Hudson Last edited by joe18d; 11-28-2023 at 11:07 AM.. Reason: Add pictures |

Just a guess
Hard to say without photos but I’d peg it at 55-60k if the paint is pretty good. Interior upgrades, strong mechanicals. Lots of upgrades.
Downside is the mileage. But who cares.

There are size limits. You may have to reduce their resolution to host them here.

I have a similar car, US spec, with 113K miles. Everything rebuilt. I wouldn't part with it for $75K.
The problem for me has always been where I would find another one as good as the one I own.

Load your photos into "paint" and under image resize pixels change the long side to 1200 px and save. These pics will load into pelican.
