Yeah, I was shocked at first, but I guess if you've got a 300SL that came with Rudge wheels and they're gone missing over the years, you'd pay plenty to make the car right. I could even imagine being "money good" on the value added to the car.

Rudge is a choice, a heavy one, but they just looks soooooo good.

Took me years to assemble the set.

Does anyone here have experience with the Coddington Rudge inspired wheels? They look nice, never seen one in person though.

I had them on Da Spoodster, they are lite. I used real Rudge spinners and had the wheels powdercoated black.

A semi local guy I know has a set, he is a retired Porsche tech, and I was impressed with them, as was a friend who owned a Speedster with them BITD. So yes, worth the wait and the money.
