Rat Rod SWB value estimate?

I have car that i have had tons of enjoyment out of… -on the street, some fun rallies, occasional Track Day, it kinda does it all.

It’s a 1968 911 T euro coupe.

It’s pretty much rust free except for the surface rust.

That’s said, It’s had quite a bit of bodywork. After purchasing, I discovered that the torsion tube was bent and the torsion cups weren’t in very good shape so I sent it to Roy Smalley, the famous 356 restorer and he put it on the bench. So the car is completely square now.

It has a 2.8 L twin plug 7R case built at Rennsport in Sealy Texas modified with a 915 gearbox, 731 ring pinion KAAZ limited slip. 21/26 torsion bars, AJ racing 19 mm bar upfront I think and a special 18 in the back. Modified for three point seatbelts with b pillar reinforced. Rebel Racing bushings pretty nice seats from Stefan at GTS and passenger from D’eser. It was only built a few years ago, so not much time on it and everything’s in good shape except for maybe the wiring is not great, but I just put a bladed fuse box in it, think, that cured the dim lights.

Has a really neat roof rack that is off of some old VW says made West Germany really cool Patina modded to fit the roof profile.

I’m sure there is more, but I am thinking about selling it after the spring maybe late spring and thought I’d see what people thought it might be worth?

Guessing Probably zero to some, and maybe a little more or a lot to others…

Love to hear some thoughts.

$45k-$60k depending on paperwork and being rust free? I like it.

Neat build. How does the interior look?

I think Helix8 is in the ballpark, but I'd go a little higher based on the "no rust" and verified straight, plus that motor build....75k? +/-

Interior is pretty solid. Needs new dash trim…

It was coated with lizard skin, heat and sound paint, then a carpet kit, new headliner, good dash etc. Photos later

I'll take it for the above suggested price

If I weren't up to my eyeballs in a similar style build on a LWB Id' be seriously inclined to open negation, surely you already have messages filling your inbox. Sweet ride, not everyone's cup or tea but exactly the way these cars were intended to be. Drive it!

Fun looking car. I’m loving the rust-eze sticker. We are big Cars fans in this house. I’m thinking $60-80k, and like I always say, you can start high and be negotiable if it’s too much.

That is a very cool build. I know some hate BAT, and for some good reasons, but, this car would probably do really well there.
