Thinking about parting my 911?
This car has a fresh 3.0 motor built with all the goodies. 241hp at wheels. What would a motor like this be worth with individual throttle bodies and electromotive ignition? Plus paper work with fresh rebuild. The transmission has 3rd fourth and fifth lowered and a kaz lsd. Transmission also is freshly redone. What would that be worth? Then I would part out rest of car. I think its worth more in parts then in whole.

You never get what you pays for it. Figure the engine and gearbox are worth 50% of what you paid to have them done, plus core value.

What are you asking for the car? Send me some pics. I have people always asking if I hear about cars available for a fair deal.. helped my buddy purchase Jose's 911SC (jmrc on this forum).

I was thinking car is worth less together. New built engine. New built transmission. Engine would cost 50 grand to replicate trans would be 10 grand. racecar tub is a little rough but has alot of suspension goodies.

Who built the engine? The gearbox? Have you got parts receipts you can post? Are you saying they haven’t been run in yet?
