Your car is a marvel and driving it through the Alps must have been awesome!
One comment: your additional lights (we call them "boules Cibié" in France - they were very popular on 911s and were usually fitted by the French importer Sonauto) have been mounted with the backing plates on top instead of below the wings.
Regards
Mathieu

Well spotted Mathieu - something was bugging me about the "boules" and all this time the backing plates were staring me right in the face, although they're kinda growing on me now :)

Any chance you could take some measurements of that item…? I have always wanted to do a DIY version. It would look great on my similar (but not yet as nice!) 72 RSR replica.

Unfortunately the car is in the UK and I'm based in Singapore so sorry could be a long wait. :(

Is this car still around?

Tremelune 07-14-2017 04:29 PM

It was listed over a decade ago.

Bump for an awesome thread. Really enjoyed reading. Makes me want to gut the kid's college fund and RSR backdate mine.
