-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have put down a deposit on this ebay car, and was wondering if anyone either knows this car or can comment based on the ebay listing. Owner states that the car exterior was repainted in 2000, and is showroom condition, no rust, engine rebuild to 2.2 block done about 10 to 15 K ago. Ebay link Thanks |

Is that the red car that was recently restored by an ex-Indy racer in MN? The listing did not reach reserve (auction ended Sat afternoon), but it looked like a nice car. If it is the car to which I am refering, the engine in that car is not from an E. It is a 1971 T motor. I hope you did not pay E money for this car or that I am refering to a completely different listing. Let me know, I am curious.
