Taking it as posted, it looks priced about right. Fairly low mileage California car with nice upgrades and all records. That seems to be what they go for. That's also the first year of VarioRam, right?

The 95/96 993s look to be valued from 32k to 38k so I don't think that is too far off but you can always make an offer assuming the PPI goes well. Looks very clean from the pictures.

The upgrades should be neutral and not add to the value. Also, the miles are not super low. I have seen 40k narrow body cars with 30k miles. You can probably pick this up for 35. Just my two cents.

Well, the miles aren't "garage queen" low, but they are "weekend driver" level, which Bruce Anderson puts at ~6500 miles/year. (That's also my experience with my Z4, which is a sunny-day driver as well.) A 993 with mileage in the 30s would e going for about $10k more, from what I've seen.

The question was what a "good price" on this car would be. I though that means a "good deal", not just market. Market may be 38-40 indeed. I would never pay market though, leave alone anything BA suggests as pricing. Last time I saw the guy, he drove an Audi.

The guy has a seller on the car, so if it falls out he will let me know.

I saw "good price" as "fair price," though I can see your interpretation as well. I've never been a fan of the "never pay market/retail" philosophy myself. I agree about Anderson being off on maket prices often, which is why I didn't quote him on that. I do agree with his mileage figure.

Still would consider a nice SC or Carrera if it a local car?
