I went back and looked again. This is one of the worst hack jobs I’ve seen in a long time. The paint is a JOKE, the seats look like they’re from a mid 80’s Supra. This car is a joke, 30 to 40k ? try 3 to 4k

I normally do not post something just to sling mud but with the wording and justification he used throughout this add I just couldn't resist.......I mean, to end with "I'm a very serious car collector"??? I guess there are some things I will never understand.
Anyway, if nothing else these adds are fun to look at.

I sent the guy a polite email with some examples of stock targas which were no where in his price universe and he returned the favor with a rude one telling me I knew nothing about custom cars.

Yes that car just screams concours winner with all the shredded rubber seals, the sun baked rear window, the seats from an 85 Toyota celica , the hacked up dash cap and door panels. I think it’s a lock for 2nd place if not first. Nothing screams concourse winner more than loads of overspray and runny paint concours. He must be a very astute collector.

My concours comments were a response to this phony question which the seller added pretending to be an interested bidder.
Q: Wow...absolutley fantastic car, incredible condition! This car just drips of 'authenticity', meticulous preperation and the elusive historical provenance. Since your a serious collector, I must ask you: I am interested in competing in concours and want to know if I can win with this car...am I a lock for a win? Will the judges be blown away by this cars rarity and cosmetic condition? Thanks!! Jul-10-06 A: I don't believe that you will win first place with this car, maybe a close second or third. If the judges are conservative 911 bone stock factory purists, then the judges would not be very impressed with the car. On the other hand, if the judges are not conservative, then they would rate this car very highly by its rarity and cosmetic condition. They would also be very impressed with the special custom STROSEK modifications which would probably win first or second in show because of its rarity. I believe that conservative judges will grade this car from a scale 1 to 6 (1 being the best), they would rate this car a 3. Non-conservative judges will rate it a 2 which would equate to an 8 on a scale 1 to 10 which is an excellent rating. That phony volly between the seller and himself posing as an interested buyer is priceless
