value of normal fuches
hey
i've recently had some interest in my old wheels. they are 15x6 fuches. great from 10 feet pitted up close no name rubber, but it works well, lots of tread... here is the pick from the last day they were used over a year ago ![]() just wondering what they are worth as a set? i'm am looking for a simple number..which would sell on this forum.... they are all perfectly round and balanced. -missing 2 center caps-

Those look like 15x7s to me. And maybe not even fuchs. Get a part number off the back to verify. If I am right about being 7s, they are worth less than a comparable set of 6s, maybe $400 for the set at most, IMHO.
All is not lost if you can't move them in Porsche-land. VW guys love these in any size made by any company. Price is adjusted accordingly, but any fuch is better than no fuch for their cal-looks.

hey
i can tripple check that they are 15x6's....however i am really sure...i'll get some numbers ASAP. as far as anyone who is interested, i've gotten a few emails...however they are sent straight to my junk mail...so unless i check within the first 8 they get tossed...so please respond with a pm, i do check that regularly. so if its 15x7 w/tires = 400? and if 15x6 w/tires (which i think it is) = x? thanks again Nick

No way those are original 6's, at least 7's.
I also think they might be repro's...my apologies if they are real... nothing a quick check for part numbers can't fix. Good luck...www.thesamba.com is another good place to sell, particularly to the VW crowd already mentioned.

I agree with most of the above, they look more like 7's and some sort of knock offs. I disagree with 7's being less valuable than 6's, with deep 6's being the exception.

hmmm i never consider the possiblity that they could be fakes...
i'm going to my parents hosue this weekend so i can check to see if there is a vin number... why would 15x6 be worth more then 15x7??? that makes no sense to me.... i would pay alot more for a 15x12 ![]() i had though they were worth above 800...but i guess i should revise that... if they turn out to be 15x7 fakes what is the value then??? they are light..... they are round..the do look like fuchs...however i do now see that they tend to have mroe lip then the stock porsche ones do... wierd...will look into it forsure.. cheers Nick

True fuchs are forged wheels. The replicas are cast and therefore not as strong.
