SWB appraisal help

I've just completed a re-build of the motor and trans. for my 66". It's time to make it legit. i.e. registration, inspection, and insurance. My provider would like to know the value, and I would appreciate any help with that. I am the third owner. Car is rust-free and in very good condition. On a 1-10 scale, I would say it ranks a solid 6. I remember an article, not long ago, in Excellence regarding these cars, but I can't locate my issue. Any help greatly appreciated.

She's a beauty! Is that on the windward side?

The market in Hawaii is really small so I'd check to see what cars in similar condition have been going for on ebay, collectorcartraderonline, autotrader or Hemmings.

If your 66 is in nice shape, and it certainly looks it, I'd say 25-27k is right. These old swbs are in fashion.

Thank you Tom. I certainly don't know where I could get a replacement like it, but I want to be reasonable at the same time. Wow, That sounds funny----- Porsche-reasonable ?????
