Your opinions on car and price.....
Looking at a 1996 993 Cab. Triple black, apparently mint, one owner, maint records. Assuming good PPI, car has 77K Miles on it.
He is asking $40CAD, or $35 USD for the car. Good car? Is that a desirable year......I know its among the last of the air cooled cars.....looks mint.....advice, thoughts?? Thanks

I think you are in the ballpark for making a good deal if the car checks out and is as you described. Especially so if it's not a tip. Good luck

That price is low if it was on the west coast, here it would be 50k min.

Price is in the ball park at 35K, some might so that is a high miles car. If you check out rennlist.com, lots of talk about the 993.

50k on west coast? That's a little aggressive...cabs are in the mid 30's like the one you described
be sure to be prepared for top repairs if it hasn't been done already...i have owned 2 and both had issues. cabs are actually lowered priced than comprable coupes btw.... sounds like a decent deal...just get that ppi to look at the top with a fine tooth comb
