A hypothetical question - does anyone know what the current value may be of a '71 911T non-sunroof coupe shell that's located in VA? It's a shell only with the wiring harness.
It's a work in progress that's been on hold. No glass, fenders, doors, hood, trunk lid, interior, etc. Just the shell and wiring harness. Originally burgandy currently GP white. I have a clean VA title for the shell. The battery boxes and part of the smugglers box bottom are currently cut out of the car. Replacement metal sections to be welded in are included. The front fender joining panels are off the chassis. New RD pieces are ready to be welded on. The rockers have been replaced but the job was performed only so-so. I'd probably replace them again. The rear seat bottom area is pretty decent - one quarter size hole exists that needs to be cut out and replaced. The front pan is nice and solid. So, any ideas of approximate value in it's current condition? Thanks for the help. Last edited by PcarPhil; 06-24-2008 at 03:38 AM.. |

Without pictures of current condition it would be a WAG. That said if it is a bare tub it is not very interesting unless the buyer has everything to build out his project. Finding that buyer may take a long time. I have seen numerous complete cars under $5000 in the last year and incomplete projects under $3000.
