It's been on the market for what, three weeks? It can be tough to sell a stock Porsche in that time, much less a modified track-only car. I think in general, the further from stock a car is, the smaller the target market is, and the harder it is to sell -- that applies to both track cars and "street customs." No one is going to pay what you're asking unless it's exactly what they want.
You can put it on ebay if you want to know what it's worth to John Q. Buyer right now (which is probably about the same as a stock 951 with no interior), or you can wait for a buyer who wants exactly what you have, which will probably take much longer, but which may net you closer to your asking price. It's really just a question of how much money you want vs. how soon you want it gone.

Now in 993 land ...

Maybe you are asking too much. You get 50 cents on the dollar at best. There also is not a huge crowd of 944 / 951 racers - generally. In my club's time trial series there is maybe 5 cars out of 200. That's got to be what hurts you most. If it were a track turbo 911, you would have less problems selling.
Good Luck, George |
