PPI problems
I recently purchased a car ('89 930 coupe) based on a professional (I paid good money for it) PPI that immediately showed itself to be inaccurate. In this case, a few issues were not mentioned in the PPI that I could live with but the car has clear tell-tale signs of paint work (obvious overspray, paint edges) that went entirely unmentioned in the PPI despite my specific request to have such things looked for and documented. The paint work would have been a deal-breaker had I known before purchase.
I will contact the person/shop who did the PPI and express my concerns. Since the PPI completion, I've had some issues w/ this shop (billing) and expect very little cooperation from them. I'm not familiar w/ how accountable a shop should be for their PPI. Any experiences w/ such things would be appreciated. |

Get it in writing
I would think that any litigation will be only as good as your records of your request for specific info at the time of the PPI.If you have,I would go for the jugular,as I`m guessing you paid a good price for that model.Any "he said-she said" is worthless without a paper trail.good luck.
