1971 911t On Ebay

I thought it only fair to inform enthusiasts of the 1971 Porsche 911t Targa for sale on Ebay. It is located in Minnesota. I inspected the car and it is misrepresented by his description. I tried to tell the seller to fully disclose the issues with the car but he gave little effort to be truthful. Below is my summary upon inspection of the car. I normally wouldn't bother but this car is pretty far from what he is describing. I would hate to see someone who's waited 30 years for their dream car to come along, end up with a bad surprise...

Noway am I bidding. This is a $4-$6k project car at most. And who know's what you'll find after chipping the bondo out of the thing... I would strongly suggest an experienced technician/enthusiast to view/PPI this car before bidding. After viewing, I have no interest in this car. I forwarded the above info to the seller encouraging him to disclose everything we "discovered" on the car when going over it but his auction show's very little effort to disclose the condition... This is my personal inspection but it was so far from what is in the auction and what we discussed on the phone that it's just plain dishonest. If I were selling a car I would say "There's Spray Foam Insulation blown into the front fender/door jam area, when you open the door you can hear it crunch!"... The "Mechanic" who said the paint was original may have well Pissed on his leg and told him it was raining...

Just take it for what it's worth and if the seller is reading this. Tell the Truth and keep your 100% feedback!

Some more info:
Oh, and by the way there's a 7" long crease in the front right fender I didn't include in the report...... And neither did he. I'm still waiting for underside engine pics as well as the pictures of the "Great Stuff" Foam. (Link just in case anyone doesn't know what it is. This is the "Where to use" link and it doesn't say Vintage Porsche Fender or inner body panels) http://greatstuff.dow.com/greatstuff/diy/where/index.htm

"I found it quite odd that this person came to see the car, but never drove it. He's then an expert on reviewing cars and post his opinion based on a 10 to 15 minute look. I also think he reviewed the car as if it were being auction by Barrett Jackson which it is not. Yes, the car has many nicks, scratches, etc. A Porsche mechanic told me the paint could be original."

And in response to the above statement:
So people don't think I'm a nutcase... I showed up to his house after my 2.5 hour drive expecting a fairly clean, original paint car, structurally sound, just like his description stated. I was there for nearly 30 minutes. It's not the 30 minutes I spent at his house that makes me an "expert" (I would say avid enthusiast), It's the years and years I've spent trying to find quality, honest aircooled cars. There was absolutely no need for me to drive the car. Hopefully my .02 will give people a balanced estimate on the cars value... I've owned, driven, restored, worked on dozens of Porsche/VW cars. Here's a few of them.

This pic show's the body filler very well. Below the trim screw and slightly to the right the cracking area is filler...
