Whats this 70t worth,should I buy?

Hi all,
I have been aware of this 70t for 3 yrs and it has been in the garage unregistered since 2000,I am trying to decide if I should buy it.It is a 70t, 5 spd., w/86k,it has been repainted w/windows out (I have seen the photos) ,orig. color in 1992 a good job but has a few chips on the hood and front fenders and a couple of tiny dents on the quarter panel, side view mirror cracked ,r tail/L lens cracked. I have crawled under and found no apparent rust on the chassis nor any bubbles anywhere else.
The engine has had a top end rebuild at 81k,new clutch was installed at the same time.In the last year owner sent the Zeniths out for rebuild ($550) and installed them himself, starts well but has a rough idle, engine smooths out above 2000rpm (owner admits carb adj. beyond his talents) I took it on a short road test on a rural road (no plates),shifts well, brakes work but pull, eng. fine above 2000 but couldn't really push too hard. Car needs to be lowered ,front end sits too high.
Interior quite good, seats have no rips but are showing their age, headliner in good shape, no rips, dash is uncracked. all switches, gauges and lights work.Has 5.5 x 14 Fuchs including spare and tool kit. Has a 90s stereo and amp. installed.
It has been in a dry heated garage for the last 15 yrs,I have seen all the bills and photos from the present owner but no records from before.
Sorry for the length, any comments and advice are appreciated.
Thanks
Pascal

Nice looking car- is there a price set? Get a PPI regardless. I learned my lesson the hard way.

If you pass on the purchase, I'd be interested in speaking to the owner.
Thanks

If the PPI is accurate and there is no rust anywhere with no rust fixes as well then the price is VERY good.

From the looks of the car that $10K may turn out to be a smoking good deal.

Thanks for the comments. I will post when I get the car on the road.It is going to be a long two weeks. For now I just keep going through Waynes book (101 Projects) and making lists of projects, parts etc in anticipation.
Best regards

Don't drive it for extended periods before doing the carb tune up. It may well have air leaks at the carb/intake gaskets or other places, and you could be running way lean on a couple of cylinders.

Looks like a great buy.
