Yep, that's the interesting thing about most auctions...stupid people
with stupid money paying stupid prices for sometimes stupid cars.....
never ceases to amaze me......

Reminds me of some long time lot queens in the greater Seattle
area two years ago before I bought my '88.....the prices that
they sold for in Scottsdale was histerical!

Yes, many a month has gone by and that car sat at 65k, some uninformed schlep will probably pay their "ransom."

..............BUT.................After a short rest, God re-awoke and said, one more!! and the 1973.5T with CIS was created.......then God saw his longhood line complete and said, "now they belong to the ages" and those fortunate few who enjoy these wonderful creations.

As a 35 year Porsche owner, one thing always stands out with time that truely embodies "Porsche", and thats the 1973 Porsche sales brochure where a full page sums up the longhoods. The photos take you directly from the showroom car delivery right to the track. "From the showroom to the track" was the sales pitch. Talk about a manufactureres confidence!! Thats the longhood legacy. Get 'em while they last!!

Bob
1973.5T Sepia of course

Garage
I saw this car the day before the auction. Looked like a nice car overall but I was looking at it in poor light at the time and didn't open doors or lids. The final price was $41,250. Seems a bit high with no MFI but back out the buyer's ripoff, I mean premium and it is in the ball park I guess.
