'71 911 E Targa value
I am wondering what a '71E targa would be worth.
The engine is rebuilt-2.2E with carbs, 915 trany, Paint is a 7/10 dark red(original color is light yellow), No rust, straight body, Interior is original S trim in OK shape(6/10-one small crack in dash, a little tired) S calipers... The car is a 7/10 in general, with a rebuilt(newly) engine. Any guesses? I don't have any pictures yet, but soon. Thanks!

Ballpark price based on what you stated would be $15-18k, assuming it is is rust free and decent. Wrong engine, tranny and color give it zero collectibility. But as a driver in a sunny year round climate, it would be a great weekend car.
Anyone who really likes yellow targas might pay a few grand more. Then there is Europe. Maybe the Porche starved germans will pay more with the strong Euro. Good luck. |

Plse excuse my ADD. Your post indicates that it is the original 2.2 motor. Even without the MFI, I would ask low $20's.
