I think he accidentally posted a link to the car as it appeared in his Watched Items folder, which will have a link that starts with my.ebay.com. It was asking for our passwords because we're not allowed to view his watched items folder.
Bad speller, yes. Inexperienced user, perhaps. Scam artist, I doubt it. But this is still a reminder to be very careful where you type your password.

he posted a link that is personal in nature.
However I am always reminded of the frailty of the system and always warn others when in doubt. |
