Kelly BB vs. Excellence price guide?
So the recent market update for the 924/944/968 series came out recently in Excellence magazine. I couldn't help but notice that it suggests asking prices which are on a completely different planet from the Kelly Blue Book.
Hey don't get me wrong - I've always thought that the KBB was downright rediculous when I was on BOTH ends of a car sale, but I'm looking to sell a car soon and I just know that folks are going to cite what they looked up in the KBB to haggle their (most likely unrealistic) asking price. Thoughts or experiences?

NOt sure of the price deltas between the two (KBB and Excellence) but one caters to the average joe. One caters to the Porsche enthusiast. Given how old the 924/44/68 series cars are, condition and maintenance records are what matters. Yes, some examples are worth very little.. others, yes, to the right buyers, could be close to $20K examples.
No one says you need to haggle when you sell. Set a fair price to you and see what happens. You know how much "wiggle" room you have.

Don't forget to add the N.A.D.A book to the mix. This way everyone can really be confused concerning prices.
