Value 72 T Coupe Numbers Matching - Yes Rust
Ok guys I have an opportunity to get a 72 T Coupe. Original engine actually was rebuilt when It was parked, in 1990 It had been painted at that time the original color was silver. This is a complete car minus a few bits and pieces.
Rust: Drivers Rocker - Have replacement Parts Suspension Points are all clean even the battery boxes! Both Front fenders are junk Drivers side door rusty Passenger side door salvageable. Rear Parcel Deck - Clean and solid as well as the floors. This car was cared for until 1990 I pulled the fenders to scope some rust damage. Engine and Trans - Rebuilt and sitting put a coil and CDI box on it and we did get it running- sounded good minus some popping and spitting from the carbs. It being a 72 with original tank etc , it should be saved however the title has gone missing so a new one will need to be tracked down. Realistically what is this car worth if you were to part it and or sell it as is? Any thoughts? I would prefer to sell it whole however I have entertained the thought of parting it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated, oh yes If I part it I will be parting and selling it here. Thanks JW ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Backseat interior is in great shape all panels are exceptional. Chrome trim and glass looks like new.
Fuchs are 15x6s all the way around. Original toolkit and jack in place. S Gauges etc. Original color was silver as determined from the plaque on the drivers door pillar. |
