Could anyone checkout a car in Half Moon Bay?
Hello all, a 74 Carrera just came on the market that I am interested in. I wont be able to get to CA until late next week. Is there anyone close to Half Moon Bay that would be able to check it out for me? I am happy to pay time & expenses.

Thanks for the offer ZCAT3. I've decided to pass on this particular car after corresponding with the owner. It has mid 200K miles on it and I would prefer something closer to 100K. The car was posted on Craigslist yesterday: http://sfbay.craigslist.org/pen/car/660913304.html

Having lived in HMB for the last 11 years you would think I would have seen this car at some point - given that the town only has 12,000 people and 1 main road (Highway 1) - but that car does not look remotely familiar. 25K seems high to me in any case - unless the car is in really great shape. Good luck with your search.

Thanks again Bill. Just looking around for a 74 Carrera Targa. Not in a major hurry but will jump on a really high quality, not over priced car!
