What would this be worth?
I have a 1985 930 all steel slant nose conversion. 3.4 Kremer conversion k27 turbo ruf inter cooler and 4 outlet exhaust. Also manual turbo boost contoller. The car is guards red with black interior with stock fuchs wheels. 930s steering wheel. The interior is about 98% mint while the exterior is very nice with the stardard rock chips that a 23 yr old Porsche would have. It has 65XXX miles and clean carfax. Private message me with your opinions. Thanks in advance.http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1211129236.jpg

Tough call.. Seems nowadays 930s are overlooked. No longer the top of the hill in performance and without modern niceties or hp that a "new" 997 has, it will take a certain person to search one out. Given that it is an '85, it is a "euro" car, which may or may not add favor to its value. A non-factory conversion is only worth the quality exuded when the car was converted, but I don't value a non-factory conversion to be worth more than a standard, original fendered car. IIRC, for comparison, the US M471 (turbo look option) was a $12k premium when new. I am not sure a non-factory conv would return that much of a premium, for example. It certainly may have cost it though.
I guess low to mid 30's, imho. |
I think racer is close, a bit high if anything. $30,000 might be the best you can do.
I don't think the slant-nose conversion helps you here. |
Also what kind of power could I expect from this conversion?

I am guessing 300 Hp?....

Stock for 1985 (euro) was 300hp. With the 3.4 and larger turbo, you could see 350-400.
