More Ebay Bull $hit... Cant they do something about crap like this?

Gimmee break... The number of lying POS selling mis-represented stuff out there is amazing. This ass-clown didn't even bother to cover the '911sc' plate.

Wow - this is one of the dumbest posts I have seen in a bit. It's not my car and I don't have any connection to it, but wow - your comments are just wrong.

What is really sad is how a member can come onto the board and trash a car, call the owner a 'lying POS', ass-clown, etc and be so completely and utterly wrong on their key piece of evidence :P

If there is any 'Clownage' going on here it is you juicersr

In reality, 'SC' was the internal designation used on Carreras since 73 and that's how the ID plates were stamped. Internal publications also show the SC designation in many areas.

I'm not saying there is nothing wrong with the car, but the piece you pointed out isn't the smoking gun you want it to be.

Now PM Wayne and have him remove this thread - so far, you have proven your depth of knowledge to only a handful of people - you may want it to stop there

Andrew,
The buyer of this car should check every inch in a painstaking manner!
Juicer is not far off base. I have no idea about the VIN. My concern would be w/ the car.

Here's an e-mail I received from the seller regarding the "911SC" on the ID plate:

SC in the top left corner of the vin plate refers to Sport Carrera which is how the RS was referred from 1973 on for Euro models. That is sport Carrera the same denotation as on the RS, the name was later diluted in 1978 by the introduction of the SC as we know it today, check out the vin number on this site: http://www.adelgigs.com/911vin%20numbers.shtml

If you wish to display your knowledge or lack there of when it comes to these cars at least get your info correct...my '74 euro carrera eng has same id designation and the early carrera's
all had this nomenclature in the signature vin plate...Bert

US Carreras also say 'SC' on the VIN plate

Mr. Juicy, I don't think folks are against you pointing out what you think is an issue on the sale of a car but I believe it is the way you present yourself.
It takes more time and thought to write and speak correctly than it does to be crude. Plus it challenges ones mind to bring forth a point in a more clever way.
Take for instance the picture of the girl next to your writings. I would rather see a nice picture of one of your cars in place of someone that would never go out with you.

It was directed to the original poster Juicersr. It was a joke.......that apparently fell flat.
