Wheels have been done with Vaseline. We didn't have any in the house so I had to make a special trip to buy some. I made a point of telling the checkout girl what it was for; not sure why.
I felt like I could be heading to do something else when I walked into the garage with a jar of Vaseline and rubber gloves in my hands. Wheels look great though. Thanks for the advice. I'll see if I can grab some pics later this week. In the meantime, I did the steering column bearing fix tonight as well as install my new Momo Competition wheel. I thought it was the best option for my linen interior. Here's a pic, if you didn't see it on the 911 tech forum. ![]() |
