'66 Air conditioning value
I just purchased a '66 912 parts car. It has under dash A/C. Appears to be complete. Any idea as to a value on this? I'd like to sell it, but if it isn't worth much, I'll just leave it alone.

Does it blow cool? If it works it should be worth something....whats the condition on it?

It looks to be in good shape. I have no way of testing it. It would be a job to remove all of it, but i hate to scrap it if someone would use it. Just don't know what to ask for it.

I'm not sure Porsche, or the dealer, would offer AC in '66. So. Is it that your "66" happens to have an aftermarket AC system? You would need to determine if it worked first before you can assign any value. Some components could be of interest (like the actual underdash system) but as for condensors, evaporators, lines etc, buying new would be the better way than buying someone elses old, unknown components.
To me, the answer is leave it alone or throw it out.

Thanks racer
That's what I was wondering. The under dash portion seems to be in real good shape. I may offer it up for sale. Thanks for the input!
