Selling an Engine

What is the best way to sell an engine? Specifically I have a 1973.5 2.4T engine 7R case with 2 year old 40mm PMOs and shiny SSIs and Danske Sport pipe. Very clean engine. I also have the working CIS still. The engine starts, runs, idles, pulls, everything fine with minimal oil weeping.

Should I sell it in parts?

Maybe switch back to CIS and sell carbs separately?

Should I keep the exhaust for my next engine (3.2L) or include it all together?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Also, any idea on price ranges would also be extremely helpful.

Someone was looking for a 2.4 recently. I would keep the CIS w/ motor and sell carbs.
It would increase the value to someone who wants an original set-up w/ the motor. At least hold till you sell the motor.

Thanks for the reply. I am actually considering putting the CIS back on the engine and selling the carbs separate. That is probably the route I will go. Haven't completely decided on the exhaust yet, whether or not that goes with the engine or stays with me.

I would be interested in the engine. Let me know what you want and what you want to keep.

Thanks, I will make a note for when I get it together. Definitely this winter and it is getting cold and dark early already in NJ.
