78/79 SC coupè - how hard to find?

Hi all!

I've been checking out rennlist, the forums here, ebay etc, looking for a decent 78-79 911 SC in good shape, but there doesnt seem to be too many out there..

the thing is, it has to be one of those models, saves me alot of money due to taxes/toll/fees if i should import one over to Norway..

Are there places i have missed looking for one? Or are there just few of them in general?

thanks for the help guys, but im looking for a coupè.. targa's dont appeal to me that much.. Hope there'll be some more to pick between after newyears, want my first 911 for next summer, and it takes a couple months shipping to norway

Craigslist in California would be the right place to look. Also hit the local PCA for sale ads at the left coast.

I do have a 78 coupe,Euro car in red with black interior in excellent condition with only 59 000 miles.never hit,no rust ever,one Quality repaint,30 miles per gallon on longer trips,if you drive within the speed limit.No sunroof and no AC.nice stereo CD player,Viper alarmsystem,remote control door entry and locking,good tires,tight car,never abused,stored inside.Need $ 29 000.- for it.If interested,please email to:fredshealey@aol.com

That took me less then 3 minutes and thats just 2 sites. There are plenty why just look at the 78/9's?

I've got a nice Euro '78 911SC non-sunroof coupe that I would consider selling. It is not listed for sale anywhere, but I would let it go for the right offer. It has been a California car for most of its life and has no rust or corrosion! It is Grand Prix White with black interior and factory pinstripe velour seats. It has roll up windows, no AC, no sunroof, and is very light. It has factory front and rear spoilers and Carrera graphics which make it look like a 76/77 Carrera 3.0. It has fresh mechanicals including correct Mahle Euro pistons and cylinders sourced from Andial. It also has H1 headlights, factory fog lights, rear wiper, and rear rain light.
