Its not a real one but it was built from a 930. a 930 today in good condition goes for maybe 25-30k ?
and yea you can blame the economy for it not being sold right now but this car has been for sale since 99'. cant blame the economy 3-4-5 years ago. Im curious if anybody knows the car and can shed some light on why nobody wants it or keeps it for that matter

I would imagine these is not an original or period correct part on the car. Not much information to go on regarding the running gear. That being, it would be tough to build this car for less than the asking price, if the remainer is up to par. Seems like a reasonable price for a club car.

Are you sure it's been with the same owner each time it's been advertised?

Asthetics aside, it doesn't appear to be a bad car for the money if you want to go racing. It has all the right stuff and you can't build a similiar car for the moeny he's asking!

The reason it looks like a Camero is because it does not have the raised hood and cowl that go with that version of 935 fender.

First of all there is no such thing as a "Camero" that I know of..... sorry sensitive about that as I have a few 1st generation CamAro's

Its a built up car but if it is fresh and race ready with the right components the price is pretty good.

That being said , no mention of what it has for a gearbox.... no mention of what kind of engine other than it is a single turbo with Motec... what series of Motec. Which Motec ECU ? Is it a 3 liter turbo .. 3.2 .. 3,3... 3.6 ? What ? Does the engine have ITBs or a single TB ... not really a lot of details. The reason it may not have sol dis the ad is not very good.

500HP 450 ft lbs for a single turbo Motec ECU motor is pretty week. 42K for that motor is silly. My motor just did 740 HP at 1 bar. I also decided to build it with new rods, freshen the heads, new crank , new cams , bought a new GT3RSR oil pump and modified the case to make it fit, new Ps and Cs and a late case because I did not want to risk a real Porsche factory 935 race case, crank or cams... all the parts, all the machine work and the dyno time for a lot less than the 42K 500 HP motor this guy has.. as in like less than half

Yes Van, but you know where to shop!

Remember not long ago a reveered guru suggesting one takes their SC motor to T*** C***** to get a 20K stock rebuild....

That said, this car may be a good buy for a track machine. Assuming it is as described.

Cheers

935? I can only see a hot-rodded 911 86' tub with roll-bar, plastic addons that loosely resemble 935 and 930 engine with EFI.

This is probably a reasonably priced race car (depending on build quality) but it's not a 935 in any way.

there is no race history, no unobtanium parts (as far as I can see from description), no flat-fan, no centerlock wheels, no tube-frame chassis etc.

It's basically a track built 911 Turbo.
