Question on a 911 price

I have a friend who wants to buy a 1982 PORSCHE 911 SC Manual gearbox, 96K miles, complete service inspection completed by Gerber Motorsports in Ballard, WA with service history. $21995 which has 96K miles on it...

I had a feeling that the price is a bit too high even if it has low miles on it... What do you guys think about this car?

Might sell in the 15-16 area. And that's being somewhat generous.

Sweet car...... $22k is very aggressive. $15ish would be tops.

Since it's being offered through a broker he's having to pay too much more for the car...

A friend found a very nice 80SC w/ 120K miles for $14K, full documents etc. etc. He had to go to Portland to get the car, but it was worth it.

Searching the Seattle area for SC's or 3.2's can be a little daunting, but have him try all the shops to see if any customers cars are for sale.

If he really wants a good impression of the car, have them take it John Walkers, it's only about a mile from where the car is right now.

I agree, 15-16k would be a good buy.

Without a top end or a rebuilt 915, 15K max if everything else is cherry.
