Slowdown?
Is it me or are there fewer longhood cars for sale? I bought my car a few months ago and remember always seeing at least a few longhoods for sale per week. Same goes for craigslist. I guess fire sales are over or they are being traded/sold offline or it could be the fact that I'm not hunting for a car anymore. I do still look around once in a while just to stay current.

I think it comes in waves. Summer also tends to be when people are driving and not thinking about selling.

Cars are selling the same day they are listed in many cases. They aren't sitting on the market.

At what prices, though? My friend just bought an '80 Targa with less than 90,000 documented miles for 6k. It's a nice car, too. Repaint and bad interior, but hey, 6K?? Mechanically, it's checked out fine so far.

An 80 Targa is not a longhood.
Longhoods are bringing strong prices.
