value with immediate top end needed
87 coupe with 140k, stock all around, dark blue paint/interior
3 owners total - 8 years/90k + 12 years/50k + 1 year/1k (me) (in MA and NH) paint 9.8/10 (done by PO, glass out) interior 9.5/10 (headliner tear, seat bolster worn a little) polished fuchs, brakes/tires - 9.5/10 good shifting/clutch leakdown/compression test <1000 miles ago: 165 / 4%, 165 / 6%, 168 / 6%, 165 / 4%, 165 / 4%, 165 / 5% burns 1/2 quart in 1000 miles, small oil leaks oil analysis shows normal just found 1 broken head stud and need to drop the engine, ugh - i knew this day was coming value before top end rebuild? value after top end rebuild? thanks for any input

Are you thinking of selling the car? If not I wouldn't do a rebuild just yet. You can drive that car a long time with one broken headstud. A top end (rings, heads) will run you from $4000-$6000 depending on what needs to be done.
