Terms: "Contemplating sale" or "Testing the Waters"
When I see these headings, I think what the owner is trying to say is:
I'm asking more than top dollar for my car, but if someone is stupid enough to pay it, I'll separate you from your money. Is is just me, or does this seem to be the trend?

I'm not sure that is necessarily true. Geshaghi headed his current post that way for his Bahama Yellow 69 E and I think that car is priced quite fairly.

I do not agree. I have contemplated the thought of selling and upgrading or downgrading in the specific case that comes to mind and needed input.

![]() Upon reflection, I suppose it is a sort of passive-aggressive way to offer a car for sale. I guess I really don't want to sell it, but feel like I should. I am open to criticism and I always appreciate comments from members of the community, so any opinions on value in my case are welcome. |
