This looks like a deal to me, although I am by no means an expert on the 356. Every time I see one for sale it is 30K and up, Is this the going rate on these now? I would like to get one of these one day, just not now.

"Light restoration" and "light rust" are probably the reason he is asking $24K. I suspect you will be dropping more than a few dollars into those problems.

Usually "light" X 10.........or only light rust "visible"............how many cars have you seen advertised as "mint" only to go through the trouble to view and find they are not even roadworthy.....

Guy selling it looks to be a local antique dealer on PT industrial who always has awful classics for sale for about double what they are worth.
