I agree. Nice unique blue as well. I'm guessing it will go for about 18K.

Looks like Minerva Blue to me. Don't recall hearing of Helios Blue before. Looks pretty nice. Based on comments on this forum nice SC's sell for $12k all day long so it will be interesting to see what happens on this one.

Wow! I think a nice SC for 12K would be a great 2nd 911 for me. Something to think about... Thanks.

Just a counter point on what, from what we can see, looks to be a nice car.

I would be concerned that this seems like a classic case of a guy who knows how to photograph a car so that it comes across looking better than it truly is.

You can just barely see the checking in the paint on the head on shot. All other pictures are just too far away to make out any defects. Add to that, there is zero comment on maintenance history so assume no books or records. So in other words true mechanical condition is likely to be completely unknown.

Also he expects inspections done prior to auction close. Well I would definitely want a PPI on this or any 911. So is he up for that? Or just an "inspection". Finally. If I did decided on a PPI it would be because I wanted to buy the car if it passed. On an open auction like this I would have no guarantee on what my actual price would be.

I'm thinking that to buy this car you have to be a risk taker. He spruced it up nice but what really lurks under that top coat of wax and Armorall.

definitely some good points..

I just looked a little closer at the pics (first time was last night on my iPhone) and noticed a few places where the gaps seem to be off, most notably the rear decklid. hmm..

ebay

isnt Heloise blue a chrysler color, no shots of the gauges,i have noticed that pretty well every other car is a low mileage claim, where are all these guys that buy cars and don't drive them.i think the car has been hit in the rear, imho, the cars sold on ebay wont stand up to a close inspection, thats why they put them on ebay.

OK based on the feedbacks I'm lowering my final estimate to over 15K. hehe.

I bought it for 14750, plus shipping to east coast, I can't wait for its arrival. If it is anything close to being as represented by the dealer ( and they have great feedback) I will be one happy boy!
