The 1976 Carrera 2.7 # 911 660 9030 is back on sale by a private seller. Must have been placed with a dealer on a commission basis but obviously didn't sell after all.

Did the private seller list a price? Also, I noticed there is another thread started re: the (in) sanity of 74-77 Carreras north of $20 K. |

Haven't seen the thread about the price of Carreras, can you post a link. Guy |

I notice that #84 has re-surfaced for sale at Carcollection in Switzerland priced at 98000 Euros.

bump to make this reappear (and hopefully stick around).
How did this disappear in the first place ? This marketplace discussion only holds 2 pages of posts ...then old posts drop off ? Moderator (wayne ?) ...... Can you fix this. There's too much valuable info. in this thread to lose. |
Keeping things going I see that #84 is again/still for sale but now at Early 911S in Germany at a 139000 Euros asking price. It certainly appears to have been doing the rounds and seems to now have incorrect petalled Fuchs.

Unfortunately no details of the engine or chassis number are given. Rick,
The Talbot Yellow looks good, I don't think I've actually seen one that colour in the flesh. Quick question for you as yours is an original electric windows one is whether the door cards are the flat or quilted version? Guy |
Guy,
Electric windows, flat door panels,NO pleats |
Thanks Rick, I noticed that both #84 and the black one have electric windows and quilted door cards. I assume that they have been added especially as the COA shown for #84 does not list e/w as an opotion/

I have an opportunity to buy a 1976 2.7 Carrera in need of complete restoration. Without going into all the details, it is a complete, numbers matching car with minor rust. My question is how much is it worth in its present state? I understand pictures would help, but unable to obtain at this time. Just looking for a general range. Thanks

Interesting point. I have not seen one of these cars with the pleated cards except #084

The white one #84 was for sale three years ago at 68000 euros and looked immaculate already and yet it seems another 60000 has been spent on restoration! Guy |
#51 has now appeared for sale in Germany.

bump for a great info. thread
Gwhite , This 1977 C3 (760 0555) caught my eye in the For Sale section. Claimed to be a m473 optioned example......with factory optioned AC ......I noticed the 2nd grill tail. Can you verify the options (M473 & AC ...including rear wiper) , and think it's the original tail ? I'm very curious , because I know another German delivery 77 C3 with factory AC (also with M473 thought to be orig. to car) . And it has a 2nd grill fiberglass tail that the owner thinks is the original fitted tail. That is why I have suspected a 1977 C3 optioned with M473 (AND factory AC) can come originally fitted with the small 2nd grill glass whaletail (except possibly examples facvtory exported to the UK for some reason....but i'm not sure about that as I do not understand why they ...UK versions... got bolt-on poly units ....unless the UK 'Sport' option cars were all converted to 'sport' after landing in the UK by the hands of AFN employees). http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1325383808.jpg ** by the way ......Happy New Year ! PS - I don't think the front fenders are orig. , as side indicators were not as early as 1977MY as I recall. The ad mentions some front repair. |
