Deals are out there right now!
Hello all and Happy New Year. I'm sure I'm not saying anything that most of you don't already know but Jesus there are some killer bargains to be had right now. I purchased the 86 Carrera cab pictured with documented 14.8k miles in August for 18.5. Sadly but also a financial benefit to me, was that it was owned by 2 previous non-enthusiasts and had a lot of improper previous maintenence and repairs performed on it. I do however love the whole sorting process, other than electrical. The most fun (not) was rewiring everything under the dash from a slash job "Best Buy" did on the stereo installation, re-doing brakes that "Midas" *&%(&-up... how do you screw up a simple brake job? I could shoot myself with the amount of effort and expense that went into sorting out a crap job a supposedly respectable 'convertible top' service shop did in replacing a power top motor and transmission. Anyways the sorting and concours detailing is 98.5% completed and I will be showing it this upcoming spring.
Other recent bargains I've run across: 1974 914 2.0 32k documented miles and no rust in the usual areas but does have some needs $3500 1991 944 S2 63k one-owner miles all records from new $7500 1986 928S 83k miles, enthusiast owned with tons of recent big dollar work done $6000 (No pics) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Yes, right now, you can get a 3.2 Carrera for the price of a Kia Rio.
Pretty good value.
