Street / Track Car Value discussion

Thinking about putting my car up for sale in order to finance a 997 or cayman. This is a well set up car but I don't know if it's worth the time/effort to try and sell in this market.
Ideally I'd like to get 25K but would probably sell for less but not that much less.
Looking for opinions on value. (I understand the mods have limited the pool of buyers so don't need any opinions on mods )
Here's what's been done to the car, most in the last 3-5 years.

What do you think?

Wow.. looks great in the pics.

Any track "rash" on the front? How many miles on the clutch?

I would hope you could get $20-22. As you mention, though, it will take time to find the right buyer - ie, not stock, but not club race prepped either.

I think your car would sell at a price less than pristine stock '87 911 but more than an average condition '87 911 that needs work. As you said...just need to find a right buyer looking for a modded 911 like yours.

I'm confused about your wording "3.8RS one piece tail and decklid with carbon fiber wing". Is this another decklid in addition to the one shown in your pic? Because the decklid in the photo is not a 3.8 RS tail. Just wanted to clear this up.

BTW, that's one nice looking 911 and setup well, too.

I think it's a beautiful car and worth low 20's all day. I agree it might take a while but if you can wait I would. Pelican is the right place to sell ( I think) or try BAT

To answer a couple of questions.

Normal chips in the hood and side mirrors. The 930S valance has some chips as well but overall it's not all chipped up.
Clutch has less than 15K. clutch was a factory clutch and pressure plate. 930 clutch if I remember correctly.

The tail pictured is a factory RS America tail. The 3.8RS tail with carbon wing is not shown but would be included.

Don,

You have a great looking car with great mods. If you can wait for a while you will find a buyer at your price. Advertise it up here...

Cheers

I'm the right buyer for that car. It's just that I'm not in the market. That's my all time favorite C3.2l color and the mods are all in line with what I'll be doing shortly to my '85. I think you'll find a buyer in the 22K range.

I'm the right buyer, and I'm in the market, including trying to sell a '06 997 C2s. But I'm unfortunately about 1500 miles away (Rochester, MN). Good luck selling your car, it looks great.

Thanks Jeff, The car handles really well thanks to your set up. The T-bar and anti roll bar combo you set up work really well.

If I decide to sell I'll try to sell in the NW and BC area first....unless Jim works out a deal with his 06 S....I wish.
