Value
I have a 1991 3.6 with 50K miles. 46mm TMW ITB EFI intake, EDIS dual spark ignition w/Megasquirt controlling the fuel and ignition. I tore the top end of this engine down to verify the condition of the engine and to verify that it contained the sealing ring feature and that the valve guides were not worn. Good on all counts. Very nice shape overall and looks like a 50K engine should. I cleaned it up, lapped the valves back in and re-assembled the engine with the goodies listed above. It is now on my engine test stand, being tuned. It is for sale and I'd like to see what you all think the value of this engine is. I will be able to offer video proof of it's running condition, as well as compression and leak down numbers. This should minimize the typical risks associated with this type of purchase.
Here is a video of the 1st fire up......not tuned yet and running rich...but it is definitely alive. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ckt5HIVC0xM regards, Al
