Whats the value of the 60's SWB cars? More or less that LWB?

They used to be cheaper but no more, tough to do an apples to apples comparison unless you are talking about S's. The LWB cars came in three levels of Trim T, E and S, the SWB Cars came in 911 and 911 S trim, there was a 68 L as well.

I suppose the question is too open ended. I should reword the question to read "what do most people in the forum deem more desirable?" LWB vs SWB?

I prefer the lwb cars (and 72's in particular) but that is a personal preference. My sense is that the swb is attractive to a segment of the market for two distinct reasons: First, it is in some ways considered more"pure" in it's form. The narrow body design, the rawness of the driving experience and the overall simplicity of the car are considered by many to be the "essence" of the 911. Secondly, the earlier cars are eligible for certain vintage racing classes, both here and in Europe, that later cars are not, so for those who want to participate in certain events, a swb is necessary.
