New to Porsches please help

I am new to Porsche 911's. I have been learning a lot recently and this website has been a big help.

I recently came upon an opportunity I think is a good one but I would like some help from you. I found a 1987 Porsche 911 cabriolet, factory turbo look M491. It is listed at $25k. Interior and exterior are in great shape with only a few minor rock dings. New leather. Odometer has bee repaired and there is a record of this. 110Kmi. The engine has been rebuilt recently and is now a 3.4 modified from the 3.2. There are records from much of the major repairs/mods. The car has a roll bar installed. Aftermkt Borla exhaust. Car fax shows a minor accident to the right front but there is no evidence of this now. Everything else is in great shape and works as it should. New tires. Good stereo. AC orks well.

I love the wide body look. I think it ads some value as the turbo brakes, suspension are there, just not the turbo itself. I just don't think it really ads that much to worth the car. Am I right in thinking it of this way?
Here are my questions:

Is the car worth the $25k asking price?

How concerned should I be with the odometer repair? Title says it is now odometer exempt. Meaning the DMV no longer cares about the mileage record?

The engine works great. No oil leaks at all. Is the 3.4 liter modification something that really adds to the worth of the car or does it detract from it?

What else should I look for when seeing the car in person?

My plans for the car would be first a 1000mi trip to drive it home. Then a weekend driver and some DE.

Please give me any helpful thoughts or comments. Thanks!

If it is a factory widebody cab, the price is worth it. Pull a Carfax to see if the mileage seems correct. Before buying, get a PPI from a reputable air cooled Porsche specialist. Ask for the records to be brought in at the same time as the PPI.

If it's a true M491, it is underpriced at $25K.

It is a true m491 but. No records. Odometer is questionable as to accuracy. In and ext is good, not great. Seems to run well.

If you are serious about it, get a PPI. Because there are less M491 cars made, than real turbos, people consider them rarer. I've even seen M491s go for more than a turbo.
