Real C2's or Replicas?
I'm looking to trade my current rims/tires for something less aggressive, and I need to determine if the rims I have now are real C2s or replicas. Does anyone know how to check?
I can provide much higher res ones via email (too large to attach to the post). 17" front and back, I believe 7" and 9" width. Spacers on both. I didn't see anything printed on the inside of the rims. They did have some text stamped on the outer surface, as shown below. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Those appear to be factory I think. The replicas have Made in Italy stamped on the inside.

If they are real, they should have a Porsche part number stamped on the inside. I'm not an expert, but I think the marking on the outside suggests it is an aftermarket wheel.

The C2 rims that were stock on my 964 turbo had width and offset #s at the valve stem. I'm pretty sure the wheels in question are replicas. The JWL casting is for the Japan Wheel Certification, so that probably adds to the info that the wheel is a replica.

I've been offered $400 + shipping for the 4 rims + 2 front tires. Based on other threads I've seen, I think that is fair. Thoughts?
