2009 Cayman base pricing questions :

I'm considering buying one of the two 2009 Caymans described below.

In the past I owned a 1973 911 ( that car is long gone ). This will be my first newer Porsche.

I have two questions :

1)
Assuming you were buying one of the two cars below, what price
would you be happy to actually pay for either car, given that both
cars are in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition ?

2)
Which of the two cars do you think would be more attractive to a
potential buyer at resale time ?

___________________________________________

Car 1 :
Certified Pre Owned
25,449 miles
price $45,950.
black exterior, tan leather interior
sound package plus
18'' Cayman S wheels

Car 2 :
Certified Pre Owned
19,930 miles,
price $45,100.
silver with black leather interior
heated seats
MP3 player interface & premium sound system
premium wheels
xenon headlights

Thank you in advance for your opinions !

I tend not to buy a car based on its resale value because I plan to own every car I buy till it can't be driven anymore

Focus on the car that has the features you want or need to make having the car more enjoyable. Do you prefer silver or black? Fo you want heated seats?

Garage
Silver is a more popular color than black; black interiors are more popular than tan. So from a resellability standpoint, I'd go for the second car. Xenon headlights are a plus. The miles are a plus. Heated seats are not relevant in the price calculation.

Not sure.. but with 981 based caymans around the corner, these cars will only get cheaper.

Are those Cayman S models or base models?
