Ain't no way that's a 25 or 28,000 mile engine! Maybe the original motor blew and this was a replacement from a wrecked car? The scratches indicate, at least to me, that some serious wrenching took place under that hood. It wasn't careful wrenching and it wasn't minor routine maintenance wrenching. Without seeing the car in person I can't speak to a repaint, but I'd inspect this one very carefully.

similar, but a LOT less $$:
Porsche : 930 Turbo in Porsche | eBay Motors Who lists a car on line for sale and doesn't show the engine? Maybe I didn't look close enough. |

Com, i replied to your PM. It is interesting, one the past 3 weeks i have had 3 unsolicited inquiries if i was interested in selling the car. 2 of the inquires came from the Ferrari chat website. F-Chat has a Porsche section and actually a pretty active 930 thread going. It is not really technical (like Pelican) but more informative. I think some of the Ferrari guys who are looking for 1st Porsche want to go for a 930.
