Another Buyer Beware Ebay!
Item #230881269624 Wow this car was on CL and the seller said TOTAL repaint and did not have records. I believe it needed a new top so this seller must have done that. This car is at $21,900 with the seller now maintaining it has all original paint. Sad! I hate to see people get ripped off on Ebay. I could have bought this car for 16k but did not want a repaint. resellers like this make the good ones look bad I hope everyone retracts their bids. I posted this on Ebay but highly doubt my questions will ever make the site. This seller even said Oh Sure I will send the records but they never appeared hummmmmm???? Run don't walk away from this seller on Ebay and any seller who does not post pics of the records and offer up the truth Before you put your money down. Bad economy makes for bad morals for sure!

Does the car have any collision history or clean title? If it is clean, I think 16k for it would have been a great buy even with the repaint. Looks to be a very nice car with a special color, sport seats and fairly low mileage. I do agree that seller should have disclosed the condition of paint however most buyers are well educated and $21900 is pretty close to its true market value. You would have to pay close to $30k or more for an original paint car with similar mileage and options.

The price isn't the issue, the issue is that the seller is (grossly) misrepresenting the car. A lot of people won't go near a repainted car, and the seller might know that...
Maybe he thinks "original paint" means "same color"... |
