PCA Stock D Class 911SC Race Car - What is it worth?
I'm taking a look at a '80 911SC D stock class race car to serve as DE track car. Recent race stats - no Podiums, mid pack car at best
In todays market - what is the car worth assuming car is well sorted, solid leakdown & compression figs given the below spec items 1. 1980 coupe Red/Black fiber glass front & rear bumps, new paint ex 2. 3.0 engine rebuilt 3000 mi, runs strong, no leaks, no blue smoke. (full rebuild) 3. Suspension, hard bushing & mono ball suspension, camber plates. 4. Trans rebuilt by Fairbanks, 500 miles ago with limited slip 5. 23mm ft & 31 mm rear torsion bars 6. RSR ft Bilstiens struts new shocks, adj anti-sway bars 7. Kirky seat, new belts (2nd seat is just a plastic seat to meet PCA club race specs) 8. Large front mounted cooller. 9. Weavo spring loaded shifter 10. Race rims and tires 11. Transponder, log book, PCA Racer 10 years 12. Straight chassis 13. Strictly IMHO high teens to low 20's is the selling price. Depending on Cage, Appearance, Spares
Properly set up it'll be a ball but every shmo in a GT3/Turbo will pass you on the straights and hold you up in the corners

$20-25K as- is if engine tests out tight and dynos at 180+/- to the wheels. Stiffen her up a bit more and the only reason it would be mid pack is the driver.. RSR front spindles are illegal, would need to go to a standard Bilstein strut, run custom valved Bilsteins matched to the 35/24 TBs..
