Price check, 16x9 fuchs

I have a very clean set of 16x9 fuchs alloys that I'm considering parting ways with. Any idea what a set of these are worth?

I also have matching 16x8's as well, but I may hold on to those for another project.

Clean. I would say 800-900 for a pair. Now if they were 15's then the price is good.

These are near perfect. So 900 seems fair for the 2 wheels? How about the 16x8 pair? How much are those worth do you think?

I think $900/pair is okay for the 9s. 8s are actually worth a bit more now, because it's far easier to find tires that work on them!

If you put the pair of 9's out for $900 they will sell instantly. I think they are worth 1k or slightly above if they are very nice. Equal condition 8's a couple hundred more.

These wheels are in near perfect shape Never repainted or refinished from what I can tell. I'm going to clean them up real good and take some pictures.

yup, they'd be gone in a couple of hours, if not minutes, at $900.

Sounds like 900 is more than fair. I've had a couple PM's and offers for 1000 already for the 16x9's.

I have 2 sets of 8's.

One set is used for fronts (i.e. 951 part number, which is perfect for the 911)
One set is used for rears (i.e. 911 part number)

If 8's are truly worth more, what should I offer those for?

16x9s rarely are offered for less than $1500. Even though tires are harder to find, they are still sought after by those that run R-compound rubber - and there are still quite a few choices out there for racing shoes.

I've seen nice 8s of the 911 variety sell for $1200, and of the 951 flavor for $800-900. If you look on eBay, you'll see folks still have a crazy idea of what 9s are worth, lol. Sure, they can ask for $2500 for the pair, but if you are patient, you can get them for $1400-1800 here on Pelican. $900? Fire-sale, IMO.

I agree with Eric, have been looking at past sales for a while on 911 16x9 Fuchs. I am sure you are getting plenty of offers to buy at $1000, sounds way to cheap for a nice pair...

Yeah, I'm getting a lot of PM's about these things. The 16x9 rears will be listed at 1500 OBO.

9 x 16

You hit the sweet spot at 1500.
IMHO $900 seems disingenius suggestion that is only good for buyer. Whomever said they would have been gone in minutes at that level was right on .

same questions, different guy

not to hijack, but i dont want to keep adding fuchs threads

i have 2 sets of 7s and 9s fuchs. all are track wheels, set 1 is nicer than set 2, all wheels straight and true

set 1 has hoosiers with some life and intact anodizing, yellow centers, not professionally painted
set 2 no tires, no anodizing, all black, not professionally done

The car is pretty much sold, new owner not interested.
I am going to try to sell locally, hershey or bring to DE/Races on east coast. Im not up for dealing with the shipping noise..

Thoughts on prices?
