What would estimate market value for this car to be?

Going to go with a stated insurance policy, and would like to keep the stated amount around what market value would actually be.

1988 Carrera Venetian Blue, blue interior
200k miles
I'm the 3rd owner, 2nd owner bought in 93 at 50k miles.
All records from that time.
No LSD
Interior is an 8.5 out of 10, same with exterior
PO was in his late 50s, drove it with his wife as a weekend fun car. Never tracked.
No rear wiper or headlight washers

Tranny rebuilt at 88k miles with the updated shifter fork
Kennedy Stg 1 clutch
Polished Forged Fuch 15" wheels
Bilstein Sport shocks
H4 headlights
Engine rebuilt at 150k miles, latest leak down is all 98-99%
Front and rear window seals replaced, new windshield at 120k miles (OE glass)
Sparco Supersport seats
Stock motor
Boxster front Brakes
$2500 upgraded AC system
Original toolkilt and air compressor
Momo Monte Carlo Steering wheel
No rust (CA, WA, TX, and now CO are the only states it's been in)
always garaged
Front and rear spoilers
original paint.

Receipts from PO add up to 31k

$16-18K for quick sale, little more if you have original seats in good condition, more if you can wait for the right buyer.

For an insurance policy, I would go $20-$22K Nice car BTW!

Sounds like you have enjoyed the car! Keep on truckin'. I might go a bit higher than the $20-22K range. Could you get as good a driver as yours for that amount? I don't think so either.

Could you go out and buy a car like for less than 25K if you had to get it tomorrow - probably not.

Venetian Blau - pretty rare and pretty pretty color

Enjoy the car,

Christian

Agree with most of the foregoing although miles are high and that scares some people.

Strange to have 15" Fuchs on an '88 as well (typo?) Nice colour too.
