I agree that parts may have been replaced after X number of yrs but the more detailed the history is the more confidence it gives me in purchasing the car. I find that the more meticulous the individual is with their paperwork the better the car tends to be. Again, just my opinion.

Of course, however many of us are buying cars on their 3rd, 4th, 5th owners. There are already enough disqualifying qualities to prevent a purchase. 3 owners ago not keeping receipts usually isn't one of them for me, at least.
